사회적 통념은 무시하라.
모든 사람들이 똑같은 방법으로 일하고 있다면
정반대 방향으로 가야 틈새를 찾아낼 기회가 생긴다.
수많은 사람들이 당신에게 길을 잘못 들었다며 말릴 것에 대비하라.
살아오면서 내가 가장 많이 들은 것은
“인구 5만 명이 되지 않는 지역에선
할인점이 오래 버티지 못한다”라고 말리는 말이었다.

남들과 같은 길을 가는 것은 편안함을 선사합니다.
그러나 그것은 탁월한 성취를 가져올 수는 없습니다.
진정한 강자라면, 무언가를 이루고자 결심했다면
대중적 지지를 받는 것은 스스로 경계하는 대신,
수많은 반대에 부닥치는 일은

Choosing to take a path that others take is taking the easy way out.
However this will not bring about a distinct sense of accomplishment.
When truly great people set their minds on accomplishing something,
they will go for it even when the odds are against them.
The truly great people are those who can use criticism to
feed their confidence and
who can resist complacency even when
showered with support and encouragement.
