사랑받고 칭찬받는 인기 있는 리더이면서
제대로 된 성과를 창출할 수 있다면
더 바랄 나위가 없습니다.
그러나 당장의 인기와 장기적 성과 창출은 충돌되기 쉽습니다.
리더는 올바른 일보다 인기 있는 일을 하고 싶은 유혹을
충분히 견뎌낼 수 있어야 합니다.
The ultimate goal of a leader is to get results;
being popular while doing so is an ideal situation.
But more often than not, it’s easy to find conflicting
interests between immediate popularity and achieving long-term goals.
A leader needs to be able to prioritize getting results over popularity.
